En 2006, la Comisi\u00f3n Europea y el PNUD reforzaron y formalizaron su partenariado en el \u00e1mbito de la asistencia electoral internacional con la firma de las Directrices sobre la Asistencia Electoral<\/a>Las Directrices se renovaron en 2008 y, m\u00e1s recientemente, en abril de 2016, cuando fueron oficialmente aprobadas y firmadas por la Administradora del PNUD, Helen Clark, y el Comisario Europeo de Cooperaci\u00f3n Internacional y Desarrollo Neven Mimicavea el v\u00eddeo del evento aqu\u00ed<\/a>).<\/p>

Las Directrices establecen par\u00e1metros para la cooperaci\u00f3n entre las dos organizaciones en cuestiones como la formulaci\u00f3n de proyectos, la contrataci\u00f3n, la visibilidad, el apoyo operacional a los proyectos en curso y la resoluci\u00f3n de problemas. Asimismo, las Directrices tambi\u00e9n establecen el Equipo de Tareas Conjunto de Asistencia Electoral CE-PNUD<\/a>un mecanismo de coordinaci\u00f3n con sede en Bruselas que tiene por objetivo aumentar la eficiencia y la adhesi\u00f3n de los proyectos al enfoque estrat\u00e9gico com\u00fan CE-PNUD.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

El Equipo de Tareas Conjunto, integrado por expertos de la UE y del PNUD, se ha ampliado en 2016 para incluir a representantes del Servicio Europeo de Acci\u00f3n Exterior (SEAE) y de la Divisi\u00f3n de Asistencia Electoral del Departamento de Asuntos Pol\u00edticos de las Naciones Unidas, as\u00ed como, a su vez, a representantes de las oficinas geogr\u00e1ficas pertinentes de ambas organizaciones.<\/p>

El Equipo de Trabajo Conjunto ofrece apoyo a apoya todos los proyectos conjuntos, tanto actuales como futuros, de asistencia electoral de la Comisi\u00f3n Europea y el PNUD en todo el mundo. El apoyo ofecido se traduce en actividades que fomentan la capacitaci\u00f3n del personal al inicio de los proyectos (tanto para la Delegaci\u00f3n de la UE como para el personal de las oficinas del PNUD en los pa\u00edses), la mejora de la visibilidad de los proyectos y el intercambio de informaci\u00f3n (mediante el mantenimiento de las p\u00e1ginas web de los proyectos y la publicaci\u00f3n conjunta de informes mensuales), la asistencia en la presentaci\u00f3n de informes (financieros y narrativos), la resoluci\u00f3n de problemas, etc...<\/p>
